The Syracuse University Summer College for High School students program website intent is to communicate to high school students who are interested in exploring college-level coursework during their summer vacation. Summer College offers 2, 3 and 6 week programs that help students explore such topics as forensic science, fashion design and engineering.
As the goal was to make the site engaging to a younger audience, I worked to design a website that would simplify the previous, verbose website, and structure a site into more targeted, direct pages and content offering. A key goal was to organize the program offerings in a custom post type with meta fields so the site editor could create & edit program listings and have those contents display properly within different areas of the site. The scheme of the interface design was to match existing print materials.
